Child of Peace

Child of Peace
asks for a world where
she is safe, where there
is pure water and food
for all. She asks for the
end of wars, sexual slavery,
unsafe streets, drugs,
hopelessness and fear.

Child of Love
offers love to all,
a world where each
understands that
together we can
heal the world and
build a utopia where
light and love prevail.

Child of Peace and Love
lives within each of us
waiting for us to call
her forth. She is you,
she is me, she is we.

This poem was written for me by one of my friends! I share it with you in the hopes that you will visit her blog and give her the same support you have given me! She is a beautiful soul and her blog is worth a visit!
