THE SIGNIFICANCE OF ‘TWO’
Have you ever wondered how
significant is number ‘two’ in our life?
At every instant of life, we experience
many things; we make decisions; we
set priorities; we make relations; we
study observations; we analyse information; and so on. Everything
that we do or think of doing has ‘two’
ways of doing it! Let’s have a look at
various things that are associated with
‘two’:
• Decisions – right or wrong
• Statements – valid or invalid
• Choices – good or bad
• Relations – strong or weak
• Observations – shallow or deep
• Study – conceptual or factual
• Thinking – subjective or objective
• Information – true or false
• Personality – real or fake
• Character – transparent or illusive
• Vision – blurred or clear
• Style – simple or complex
• Ideas – raw or moulded
• LOVE – true or fake
• Work – easy or difficult
• Question – straight or ironical
• Answer – reasonable or inexplicable
• Words – meaningful or senseless
• Senses – actual or illusive
• Body – strong or weak
• Mind – stable or unstable
• Conscious – inactive or awakened
• Actions – favourable or
unfavourable
• Priorities – high or low
• Preference – now or later
• Arguments – agree or disagree
• Race – win or lose
• Progress – part or full
• Task – complete or incomplete
• Wish – fulfilled or unfulfilled
• Desire – awaiting or living
• Beliefs – static or dynamic
• Dreams – strange or familiar
• Interest – nil or full
• Concentration – focused or flowing
• Energy – positive or negative
• Achievements – accept or reject
• Goal – success or failure
• Hope – lost or found
• Prayers – effective or ineffective
• Laws – followed or broken
• Guidelines – adhered or ignored
• Mood – happy or disappointed
• Vibrations – hot or cold
• LIFE – dull or enthusiastic
For all the things listed above, there
are just ‘two’ things associated with
each one of them. The “IN BETWEENs”
doesn’t exist! Everything that we
experience in our daily life has just
two ways associated with it. For example, the decisions we make, can
be either right or wrong; there are no
decisions that lie in between the two,
i.e., partly right or partly wrong.
Similarly, the statements we make can
be either valid or invalid; relations can be strong or weak; and so on. But in
reality, everything that we experience,
lies in between the two extremities.
Nature shows amazing symmetry in its
various elements, but it depends on us
how we use them to suit our needs. Humans, through their highly
developed emotions, have learned to
live their life not only in the extremities
but they have evolved into a species
that has learned to survive by
adapting to even the ‘long chain’ that connects the two extremities. In life, whatever we experience is
magically related to ‘two’. I have been
observing this beautiful mystery of
nature from a very long time and came
to a satisfying conclusion.
“EVERYTHING AROUND US EXISTS IN PAIRS, EQUAL AND OPPOSITE. FOR
EVERY IMAGE THAT WE SEE, THERE IS A
MIRROR COUNTER-IMAGE THAT CAN’T
BE SENSED BY OUR PHYSICAL SENSES,
BUT THEY DO EXIST. LET IT BE SCIENCE,
RELIGION, POLITICS, BUSINESS OR ANYTHING ELSE, THERE EXISTS A
SYMMETRY – THE SYMMETRY OF NATURE.
AND THIS IS DUE TO THIS SYMMETRY
THAT EVERYTHING AROUND US IS
MAGICALLY ASSOCIATED WITH ‘TWO’.
THE ACTUAL AND ABSTRACT ELEMENTS OF NATURE – ALL SHOW THIS SYMMETRY.
THIS IS THE LAW OF NATURE WHICH I
HAVE OBSERVED AND INTERPRETED
THROUGH MY AWAKENING CONSCIOUS!”
Now there can be ‘two’ types of
reviews to this observation and interpretation of mine – “I agree” or “I
disagree”……..!!!
I found this pretty interesting. I also believe everything is in two’s.

Btw? how do we love in two’s
i agree :))
In life, everything must indeed meet its opposite.
Man, I hate it when I make a typo
So well done! And certainly thorough. Love it. 🙂

Thanks for sharing your comment again!
Only if one accepts dualism as dogma. When we were young we learned one plus one equals two. We learn to be false, one plus one equals one… Each of the pairs you describe cannot exist without the other. The yin, yang are a complete circle with spots where they fold into each other
This is true, yet at the same time, for one to understand that one plus one equals one, we must first identify the components of one. Recognition of duality leads to a realization of unity. Welcome to the Age of Aquarius… Baby steps…
Where knowledge replaces belief …
‘Two is better than one’ 🙂 Great post!
